These twilights are at the center of a constant struggle with regular humans, and various powerful factions like the Corsica Family, Monroe Family, Cristiano Family, and Paulklee Guild manipulate them to keep the city's delicate balance intact. Meet Worick Arcangelo, a charismatic human, and his close friend Nicolas Brown, a deaf twilight. Together, they run a neutral operation called "The Handymen," where they take on all sorts of jobs to make a living. Their latest gig seems straightforward: the police hire them to eliminate a rival pimp and his escort. However, what starts as a simple assignment quickly spirals into a web of danger and intrigue, leading them down a path that could alter the very fabric of Ergastulum. As they navigate this treacherous job, Worick and Nicolas find themselves entangled in a much larger conflict, revealing the dark underbelly of their city and the complex relationships between its inhabitants.
