Seventeen-year-old Kaede Seto just wants to blend in and enjoy his teenage years. After going through a tough time in middle school, he and his two close friends decide to switch to a boys' high school, hoping for a fresh start. Kaede dreams of finding a girlfriend, but his past makes it hard for him to let anyone in. As he navigates his way through the challenges of moving on, he catches the eye of Tsubasa Arisaka, a romantic girl from an all-girls school. Tsubasa, a huge fan of shoujo manga, has always imagined her life as a perfect love story, but reality has shown her that relationships can be much more complicated than what she reads in her favorite comics. Tsubasa's interest in Kaede motivates him to confront his lingering fears and insecurities. However, their journey to happiness isn't just about Kaede's struggles; both of them are still figuring out the ups and downs of love. They need to realize that real-life relationships come with their own set of challenges, and growing up means learning to face them together.
